organic wines
Organic wines are produced without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or the use of chemical fertilisers. This ensures that the vines and the resulting wines are free from man made toxins that can be harmful to your health. Also, the use of sulphur dioxide to preserve the wine (you normally see the words "contains sulphites" on wine labels) is in much smaller quantities in organic wines. All true organic wines are certified by the relevant organisation within their country - so make sure that you check the labels.
Organic wines provide a true taste of the combination of the soil, the weather and the environment that has come together in each year to produce the wine and they are not "standardised" for the market by chemical adulteration. They reflect the true character of their region. And they taste fantastic..........
